Scenic route.

The Tohoku region is a place like none other. As the group took the toll road home there were many beautiful places along the way. Praise God that He led us safely back home.

Time to head home.

The stay up north is now at an end. Please continue to pray for the Robb's that God would direct them. Chuck wasn't able to be around as he needed to get things done but his presence is still felt in the picture.

Beautiful view.

Higashi-Matsushima is a beautiful area in Japan. In fact, it boasts one of the top three most beautiful spots in Japan. This picture was taken from where I worked out in the morning.

Kids outreach.

The kids outreach was a big success. There were roughly 25 kids who registered but there ended up being about 50 including parents. More than expected. Praise The Lord that the outreach went well. Please pray for the children and parents who attended and heard the good news of Jesus Christ.

Preppin for the event.

Aaron was busy at work in helping Chala prepare with the crafts and also the games for the kids to play. Aaron has been a blessing to all who encounter with him.

Up in Higashi-Matsushima.

Chuck and Yumi planned a kids outreach and asked if the bible college would be willing to help. With a few of the students we went up to help. Saturday was the Robb's 1 year anniversary in their move from Okinawa and up to the Sendai area.

Time to head out.

The time in Tokyo was short for the Korean students but it was fruitful nonetheless. Please keep these men and women in your prayers as they also finish their second half of the semester. Especially for Paul and Esther that God would reveal the next step they are to take.

Ramen.

Paul ordered a ramen that included a big portion of beef and vegetables. Look at that! He went all out. As the picture shows Paul ate a good dinner.

Korea group in Shinjuku.

The Korean group had one last night in Tokyo before heading back to Korea so they decided to visit Shinjuku. The buildings and bright lights made the time enjoyable for them.

Justin nagura.

Today was Justin's turn to share his testimony with the Bible College. It is bittersweet to see Justin in Okinawa, great to have him experience the Japanese island life but a bummer e could not be with us in Tokyo.

Ice cream fellowship.

After Wednesday night Bible study the crew from Korea and the Bible college students went out for some all you can eat ice cream at "Ken's". Here's David Noh getting his share of ice cream. For ¥400 yen, all you can eat real ice cream isn't bad.

Gabe the man.

Gabe was given the opportunity to share his testimony with the Bible students. Amazing to see how there was difficulties in his life but God was with him throughout each one.

Taking the trains.

Check out Daniel and Gabe. These guys rocked the trains like a pro. Praise The Lord there were no problems for us as we traveled back to the Bible College.

Time to head out.

Our time in Korea was short but sweet. It was a real blessing for the students to meet up and finally meet each other in person. Now, it is time to finish the second half of the semester.

Helping at "House of Hope".

Pastor Mike allowed the group to head over to House of help to do ministry. House of Hope is a place that helps mentally & physically challenged people. The students were able to sing songs, dance, eat and help with those living there it was a fun time.

Good crew.

This was a good group picture of all the Bible college students. Please continue to pray for these men and women. The calling of God is so apparent in majority of their lives. God has blessed us this semester with a great group yet again.

Dean Pera.

This is Dean, he has been a good friend and fellow Bible College student during our college years. Dean is now serving as a missionary at CC Cheneon (misspelled). I haven't seen him in a year. It was great to catch up with him in person.

CCCA Camp.

The colleges in Japan were able to partake in the annual "Calvary Chapel Church Association" Camp. This camp is held every year to allow a time of gathering between the five other Calvary Chapels throughout Korea. Here is Pastor Peter welcoming all the people. Pastor Peter is at CC Cheonon where he also directs the Korean School of Ministry.

Banana Milk.

Only in Korea can you find the perfect blend of Banana flavor and Milk combo. Here is Aaron drinking his first banana milk in honor of Nago missionary Eder Diaz. Eder is addicted to this stuff.

Eating out.

Restaurants in Korea offer a good price to eat. In Korean culture, people go out to eat at dinner more than eating at home. The students all enjoyed their first take of Korean food.

Korea interns.

CC Daejeon has started their first semester and its been a blast to meet them all. Here are the interns, Taylia who is a fellow graduate from CCBC Japan and Chuck (right) who graduated from CCBC Murrietta.

Safely arrived in Korea!

All from Okinawa and Tokyo have made it safe to Korea. We arrived into Daejeon late at night but that didn't stop the students for the next day. Everyone was up and ready to roll. Our morning began with a lecture in ministry.

Going by train.

Taking the train to the airport is the cheapest way to go an also the funniest. Traveling is a half the adventure.

Saying last goodbyes.

Our journey to Korea has begun. Before we leave the students were able to say last goodbyes to Pastor Rich and Naoko. It has been a fun time to have them here in the Tokyo region.

Laying on of hands.

The students in Tokyo spent their last Wednesday yesterday. They were able to see everyone before they leave to Korea and then to Okinawa. Pastor Rich and Lewis were able to lift them up in prayer for the next journey here in Japan.

One last outing.

The students' time in Tokyo is coming at an end and now is the time to make it worth while. Anna Folkerts wanted to go visit the Ueno zoo to see the Pandas. For ¥600 ($7.75) you can't go wrong for an entrance fee. Ueno zoo is the oldest zoo in Japan.

Lectures in Ministry: Travis Takamiya.

Pastor Travis was able to share a lecture on ministry out of Nehemiah chapter 2. The students were encouraged to apply the concept of waiting upon God when our hearts are stirred to perform something. It was a great encouragement.

Outreaching at Fuchu Station.

This was the students (Tokyo side) last Friday in the mainland so everyone went out to Fuchu station to evangelize. It was a good time. Japan in general has been considered a hard ground to witness and pass out tracks, there was some turn downs but all in all it was fun.

Student Testimony: Anna Holt.

Anna Holt was able to share her testimony this morning. It was great to hear. Anna's parents were missionaries to Japan and Anna was born in Japan, in fact, she was born in Fuchu. What a small world. Please pray for Anna that God will guide and continue to give her strength for the semester.

Testimony time with Jordan.

Jordan hails from San Diego while living a portion of his life in Oregon. God has brought Jordan to Bible College where He continues to speak and lead Jordan. Please keep him in your prayers.

Time to head back.

These past couple of days went by quick. It was a blessing to have been able to hang out with many of those from Tokorozawa and Fuchu. Please continue to pray for both bodies, that God would continue to lead in His direction.

Morning bible study.

It was great to gather together this Sunday morning to spend time in God's Word. The group was able to meet where we had the bonfire. Being outside and seeing the trees reminded me of the Gospel, as Jesus taught to His disciples outdoors. Pastor Travis shared out of John 15, Jesus is the ultimate gardener.

S'mores Galore.

After the dinner and bonfire the camp busted out the sweets. Everyone loved eating the s'mores. As you can see, both Josh and Carel got their filling.

Bonfire.

We were able to have a bonfire the first night. After dinner, Pastor Travis gathered everyone together and lighted bonfire sticks. It was a great time of fellowship.

CC Church Camp.

CC Fuchu was able to come together with CC Tokorozawa and have a joint church camp. The purpose of the camp is to fellowship with each other and relax. This camp was special as we were able to meet up in the mountains of Chichibu in Saitama prefecture.

Joanna in California.

As you know, my Mom has gone to attend the Pastors wives conference in Murrietta California. This picture was taken by Logan Guthrie who has attend a couple semesters in Japan.
Joanna was able to attend morning chapel and speak briefly about the Japan campuses. Praise God!

Hannah and Jordan: the puppet masters.

Here is a good picture of Hannah and Jordan working with the kids. Both did a puppet show that left the kids enraptured with the show. The best way to get a kid's attention is to have fun and love on them. Great job Hannah and Jordan.

Anna Folkerts' Testimonial.

During the first month of the semester the college students heard the intern and faculty members testimony. Now, it is the students turn to share their testimony. It is great to hear how God has saved many of the students from their past life. It was good to hear Anna's life story.

Time to head off.

My time in Iwakuni was a blessing. Sunday, I was able to share at the service and praise God it went well. Keep CC Iwakuni, the Silva's and Jon Piper in your prayers as God continues to do a mighty work.

Jon Piper working out.

This morning before I returned back to Tokyo, I was able to train with Jon. The "P.T.Straps" once again showed how reliable they are, no gym required, only an area where the straps can connect. Jon liked the workout as we both hit chest and triceps.
